dc.description.abstractINTRODUCTION: One of the side effects of tamoxifen therapy is tamoxifen maculopathy. AIM: To describe clinical, angiographic and optical tomography feathers of tamoxifen maculopathy and to analyze bibliography review of previous studies. METHODS: Review of history, clinical examination, FFA and OCT findings of the images were conducted. RESULTS: Five patients with tamoxifen maculopathy, four of them with cellophane maculopathy with or without cystoid macular edema, one case with tamoxifen maculopathy in the eyes with sarcoidosis. CONCLUSION: Patients receiving tamoxifen should be monitored with OCT for funduscopicaly invisible changes in the inner retinal layers once a year.en_US
