In the last two years, with appearance of multicore processors, the need of parallel programming has become essential. Programmers using multicore processors are forced to deliver the best performance. But in their effort they must face the selection of the programming model. We have examined the performance on multicore processors for most popular languages and models of parallel programming. For analysis we chose the C++, C# and Java programming languages and MPI and OpenMP programming models.en_US
