dc.description.abstract | This paper explores the role of digital media revolution in political violence, the frequent interplay between media reporting and the use of violence by extremist movements. As the media evolves, the risks change as well. Psychological trauma from seeing violent incidents in news reporting is an increasing risk for journalists. The research hypothesis in this article is that the digital media is playing a vital role, permits the terrorists directly to outline their message, spread of the movement and its cause and legitimization of the movement and its activities. The objective of this article is to more closely examine the emergence of new trends that influence the relationship between the media, the terrorist, and government. | en_US |
