Unlike the currents which advocated, for a long period, teaching of the standard language, the new tendencies emphasize the language as it is used in everyday life. The purpose of the present work is to analyze the presence of elements of spoken French in four textbooks of corrective phonetics of French in order to see how this discipline familiarizes French learners with the peculiarities of the familiar register. These textbooks are intended for students of French as a foreign language whose university education has a double objective: to learn the language, but also to become teachers of French or translators / interpreters.
